Default Mic for Canon

Hi
I need to find a mic for a Canon MV650i that will mask wind noise better
than the in-built mic. I know Canon make a mic, but @120 GBP. Can anyone
suggest a more reasonably priced alternative that will do the job?
Mike

I bought two mics from Maplin. One is a large stereo one and the other is a
tie-clip mic. I needed to re-solder a 3.5 mini jack to it but it's fine.
This one has a foam sleeve but not the large one. You can clip the small
one onto the strap of your camera. I have a 600i, by the way.
