Default Mic for Canon

Jessops do two cheap mikes (~£30), one's stereo and the other is mono but
directional. They're fitted with some form of foam windgag, but it would
probably be better to get a suitable Rycote windgag and you may get some
improvement. Do you have headphones so that you can check at the shop?

Hi
I need to find a mic for a Canon MV650i that will mask wind noise better
than the in-built mic. I know Canon make a mic, but @120 GBP. Can anyone
suggest a more reasonably priced alternative that will do the job?
Mike
