| which other softwares let you automatic scene selection like the pinnacle ? Unfortunately my pinnacle has problems with capture. thank you. |

It depends on what you mean by 'scene'. If you mean that a new scene starts when the timecode on the tape jumps to a new value, then Ulead's DVD Movie Factory, and also Scenalyzer (sp?) will both do this. If you want a new 'scene' when the picture changes more than a certain percentage of the whole then while I know such things exist, I can't supply names of capture progs that do it. The above assumes that you are capturing via firewire/1394. If you are doing analogue capture then only the second type of 'scene' is possible. And note that I don't/haven't used 'pinnacle' so don't know what it is capable of. Regards, Harry. |
