Hi all, i'm going on holiday to amercica soon - was wondering what the best way is to charge my camera when i'm over there. I've got a Sony TRV-60 .....and its come with a "AC POWER ADAPTOR" which says "AC IN ~ 100 - 240V 50/60 Hz" So i'm guessing it will be ok to get a UK - US mains adapter, and plug it straight into this thing right?? Want to make sure before i go blowing anything up. Cheers, Dan

Hi Dan Did the TRV60 come supplied with the "AC-L15B" charger ?? If it did, take a look at the mains lead & see if the EARTH pin is all plastic. If it is, like mine, and you take the screw out of the plug you will probably find it will have a two pin plug on the end of the actual cable & i think this is the USA type plug. Phil. There's absolutely no problem in just using a physical adapter, as sold in high-street shops here or at airports. -- Tony Morgan http://www.camcord.info

Dan, take a tip from me, if you buy an adapter, buy a good quality one, the flat pins of the adapters have a nasty habit of fallling out of the US sockets, and you spend time propping thins to keep them in place. Decent quality adapters appear to work ok. Enjoy your trip
