| I am having troubel with Sony's software, when I view the tape via usb from my PC105E it will only fill a small section of the monitor screen. Any clues on how to increase the screen size, presently it is hardly worth watching. |

USB (either 1 or 2) is less useful for video than a chocolate tea pot for keeping hot tea in whilst on a hot plate ! |

| In message , KW_UK writes Snipped.... why? USB2 is faster than firewire.... In theory yes, in practice it is certainly not. USB 2 permit's speed step-down (and rarely achieves its max spec) IEEE1394 does not. There are other reasons, too, for using IEEE1394 and not USB2. For instance, IEEE1394 supports control signals to operate camcorder functions and supports the passing of status information to and fro between camcorder and PC software. USB2 does not provide such support. -- Tony Morgan http://www.camcord.info |
