Default Problems displaying Kodak PhotoCD on DVD player.

DVD player: Lecson DVD-1000 - but other makes of DVD player may show similar
problems?

I have a Kodak Photo CD. On my PC I see about 15 directories, one of which
is named "PICTURES" and contains all the JPEGs.

When I load this onto my DVD player, SmartNav (sic) starts but displays all
the directories on the CD _except_ for the PICTURES directory. This means I
can't actually display the JPEGs!

Anyone seen anything similar to this and know how to solve this?

Thanks,
Paul DS.

if the disk has jpegs , it's a KODAK PICTURE CD not a PHOTO CD
Photo cd was the pro format which had files with pcd extensions and
can be read natively by photoshop 7 etc.

picture cd's can be played back on most of the current crop of budget
dvd units , i just bought a proline from comet at 30.00 which can be
made multiregion from the handset and plays picture cd's.
