| "John Russell" wrote in message ... "Fadel Ibrahim" wrote in message ... How can I copy a film in my digital camcorder to a DVD? Do I have to go through transferring the film to the computer, use Adobe Premiere (or Pinnacle) and then export the film to the DVD burner or can I somehow go directly from camera to DVD? Thanks for any help Fadel Ulead MovieFactory3 has a "direct to disk" option which will create all types of disk , not just DVD-VR. I just tried it and it is records everthing via disk UNLESS DVD+-VR is used. I put a DVd+RW disk in, selected to make a DVD (not DVD-VR). I then had the option of selecting DVD+VR and it said the capcity was 4.3gb. When I selected record from my MV camera the burner light came on straight away. My software PC DVD player would play the disk afterwoods but I doubt my home theater DVD will. |

It dosn't mention that anywhere in the manual. Perhaps newer players are sharing chip designs with DVD recorders, inheriting DVD+-VR support and not documenting it? |
