 Digital 8 tape? Which tape should l use for digital 8 camcorders? normal 8, hi 8 or digital 8 and is there much difference in performance and how about difference in performance between lp and sp?   |

(Sometimes they are branded as "Digital8" and sold at a higher price, but that's just marketing.) It is also possible to use regular Video8 tapes, but the possibility of dropouts is higher with them. (Sony also warns in the manuals that the interoperability with other Digital8 camcorders is not guaranteed when using regular Video8 tapes.) -- znark |
