Default Suggestions wanted:HD camcorder for a specific task

I would like to make my own "Real Life Videos" for Tacx indoor cycling
trainers (see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GmQ3NXw9-BE). This involves
filming the road ahead from a car (or motorcycle) as you drive (usually up
a big mountain.

The requirements are-
High Quality
Good Stabilizer (I assume)
Good image quality when the camera is in motion.
What HD camcorder would you recommend for this application? Is there a
particular type or configuration of image sensor that is better for this
type of usage?

At the risk of starting a flame war, I'd suggest that a CCD sensor (or
three) would be far better for your particular application than a CMOS
sensor. However, that puts the price up.
