Despite working in TV for years I am only just looking at
getting
some
editing software at home.
This suite looks pretty good and the price point is nice.
Can anyone offer any objective opinions?
Lacks functionality, considering the price point of it's bigger
brother (RTX100).
But it's bigger brother is considerably more expensive.
I was kind of hoping for opinions on how the product compared to
competing products at similar price points.
But what are the real savings (or not...) going to be, the RTX10
doesn't seem to come bundled with Premiere anymore so you're going
to
have to add the cost of editing software onto your purchase. The
RTX10, IMO, now seems to fail into a no-mans land, more money than
the
Studio type entry level card / software bundles but (at circa 300
GBP)
it's to expensive when you add the cost of decent software
compared to
the RTX100 etc.
RTX10 + Abobe premiere = circa 900 GBP
RTX100 + Abobe bundle = circa 700 GBP

As I said, the RTX10 just doesn't add up anymore !
Unless you get it on Ebay for 180 uk pounds with P Pro 1.5!!
Well, I suppose you could get it for nought off the back of the lorry
too...
No. this is a legitimate copy of all the software and a new / unused board!
Thanks for your moronic sic helpful /sic comment ! :~(
Donīt understand what you mean by that, nor your use of "sic", but I suppose
yes, it is helpful for me to point out that things can be purchased at great
savings and legally too if one cares to take the trouble to search (and
remove oneīs blinkers!)
